3 days late, unsure about possibility of pregnancy?
My AF comes like clockwork every month, I always start on time. I had a short light bleeding a couple days after having unprotected sex with my husband a few days before that, during my Ovulation period. However, this month, I am currently 3 days late. I have been having possible pregnancy symptoms: Sore breasts(esp. nipples), extreme nausea, always tired, mild cramping, lower back aches, and I just feel different. I took a hpt the first day I was late, and got a negative. I know my AF has not been late because of stress, I’m not stressed at all. Is it to early for a positive test to show up yet? Should I wait a couple more days, and retest? What are the chances that I am pregnant? Has anyone else had something like this happen to them?
Serious answers only please, me and my husband are TTC #1
Thank you

You’re definitely having all the symptoms of pregnancy. It’s not rare to get a false negative. I would test again tomorrow morning, you’ll have more of the pregnancy hormone in your urine if you wait until morning. And test with a 5 days sooner test. And i think you have a better chance of being pregnant than not being pregnant. A LOT of women get false negatives so i wouldn’t worry too much about it. Good luck.

Anyone experience these things with pregnancy?
Just wondering, did anyone experience these things during very early pregnancy?:
White creamy or clear discharge (Sorry TMI)
Extreme dehydration – having to have a bottle of water with you at all times and consequently needing to pee all the time.
sick feeling in your stomach after eating on some days but not others
really bad fatigue resulting in dizziness during the day
always wanting to go back to bed or just not get up
having strange dreams
waking up at strange times of the night for no reason
headaches and passing waves of nausea??
To ‘DON’
…Shut up.
I’m assuming you are a man, and therefore have never and will never experience the miracle of pregnancy and all that comes with it, and considering the fact that you’re a loser who’s looking at the pregnancy section on Y!? im assuming you will never have a woman to experience it with either, so if you havent got anything positive to say, go away!

I had all of these symptoms as well, tho many of them were only with my first pregnancy and far less pronounced with my current pregnancy. I would suggest investing in a pregnancy book, such as “what to expect when you’re expecting”. I read it with my first and found it extremely helpful in identifying what symptoms were normal, what could be causing them and what i had to look forward to in coming weeks and months. As someone else said, a lot of these symptoms should ease up after 16 weeks, and you should be feeling a bit better after that
congratulations mommy!

zoloft withdrawals or pregnancy symptoms?
I was on a very low dose of zoloft for a couple of months for anxiety (work related). I weaned off of them and have been completely off of them for about 2 weeks now. I am SOOOO tired all the time (for about 5 days now) that I feel like I could just fall over…no matter how much sleep I get. Also, my husband and I started trying to have a baby about 2 weeks ago and I know we had sex before, during and after I ovulated…so, I’m wondering if this extreme fatigue is my body still adjusting to being free of the zoloft or if it’s an early pregnancy symptom. (I took a home test Saturday and it was negative but I’m not quite due for my period yet…it’s due any day now). Thoughts? (other symptoms are off and on nausea but hunger at the same time and increased libido)

It sounds to me like pregnancy symptoms b/c ive been on zoloft and never had that problem..give it a few more days and get the pregnancy test called first response or you could try it now b/c it show if you are 5 days sooner than your proposed period start date most quickest to see if you are pregnant

Massive Migraines and Extreme Fatigue. Need Advice and Tips.?
I am about 13 weeks pregnant. Early in the pregnancy, I dealt with bad nausea and food aversion. Thankfully, that have gone away. However, for the past week, I have been experiencing extreme fatigue and have been getting massive migraines. Have you ever had to deal with that during your pregnancy? If so, what did you do to help make yourself feel better? I would like to try it out, because at this point, the headache is getting almost unbearable.
Thank you in advance for all tips and suggestions.
P.S. I should also mention that whenever I stand up (especially if it is too fast), I feel dizzy.

You’re iron levels may already be getting low in which case it would be best to try a LIQUID iron supplement as they absorb easier as well as they tend to be more gentle on your stomach but one brand that i LOVE and which is much better than those yucky dark liquid irons is called “Spatone”–also taking Nettle Tea (safe during pregnancy) is a great addition to your diet if you’re low on iron.
As for the migranes-I would suggest to daily take a good magnesiu supplement. It would be best to have a look in your local health food store as they usually ahve better fromulations of vitamins with biofactors to help absorb the other vitamins. Not only is taking magnesium great to help with migranes but it is also wonderful for labour and preventing pre-term labour. A good combo of biofactors which should be with your magnesium is also calcium, zinc and i THINK it was B6….the daily requirement for pregnant women is 200mg THREE times daily. I myself take magnesium daily as well. If you begin to suffer with some diorrhea then reduce the amount by one of the dosages and see how it goes then. Magnesium is necessary to relax the uterus in labour and that it helps prevent eclampsia and delayed labour. In Bangladesh eclampsia is treated with magnesium sulphate before a patient is referred to hospital[ref]. Perhaps they have less money for frivolous money, or perhaps they just have more sense.
Some effects of magnesium deficiency:
* asthma
* migraine
* painful periods
* irritable bowel syndrome
* high blood pressure
* malfunction of smooth muscles eg the uterus, gut muscles, the tiny muscles of the arteries and airways
ALSO not to mention if you get a good magnesium supplement which also has zinc in it then that also has great benefit for the birth…..Catecholamines require zinc for storage and release—-If you’re not familiar with catecholamines, Dr Sarah Buckley talks about it in her books and her website (http://sarahjbuckley.com/articles/labour-hormones.htm)
[Catecholamines] do have an important role to play in the second stage of labour, which is when birth actually occurs.
Early in second stage, when the cervix is fully open but the urge to push is not yet strong, a woman can feel the need to rest for some time. This is sometimes known as the “rest and be thankful” time. After this, she may quite suddenly experience the dry mouth, dilated pupils and sudden burst of energy that are all characteristic of high levels of CAs.
This burst of CA’s gives a mother the energy to push her baby out, and Michel Odent observes that, when unmedicated, women usually want to be upright at this time. Some traditional cultures have used this fight-or-flight effect to help women having difficulty with the pushing by surprising or shouting out at this stage. It makes sense, at this point-of-no-return, for fear or danger to speed up the birth, so that a mother can gather up her newborn baby and run for safety.

Do you think that I could be pregnant?
Hello, Im about 8dpo. My next period is due September 7th or 8th. My hubby and I TTC during my fertile period which was Aug 20th-August 25th. On August 29th. I starting to have some mild cramping that went away in about a half hour. An hour after that I had extreme nausea so bad that I was bed bound for the day. I drank a little ginger ale and that helped eleviated. For the past three days I still have nausea, and feel like Im going to vomit.my breast were sore yesterday. I have been dizzy and extremely hungry. I took one of those pregnancy test by wongfo and it came out negative. They say women know there bodies but something just doesnt feel right. I think I tested too early I may test again monday. I wanted to know if these sound like they could be early pregnancy symptoms?-thanks
I have also been very tired.
