Your Questions About Extreme Nausea Early Pregnancy

Mark asks…

Why do my legs suddenly ache so much in pregnancy?

I’m 34 weeks pregnant and have not exercised due to extreme nausea early on and now discomfort. Yesterday, without warning, I squatted down to pick something up and my legs felt like they were going to collapse. My thigh muscles hurt a LOT, became weak and began to give out. I couldn’t use my legs much after that. Today I can walk around, but my thighs are sore as if I leg-pressed tons of weight yesterday. This didn’t happen with my first pregnancy and I’m wondering why it’s happening now.
Thanks!

Eat a banana and go to the doctor asap.

The potassium in bananas will help the leg cramps ??

Mary asks…

Extreme nausea for past two days?

I have had extreme nausea yesterday and today around 1pm and it only lasts for a few minutes then is completely gone. It is the worst nausea ever. It comes on suddenly and I have to lay down until it passes. Any smells or light make it worse. I’m wondering if anyone has felt like this in early pregnancy?

admin answers:

I had nausea in the morning, afternoon and evening for the whole 9 months. As a matter of fact I was suffering from nausea more in the afternoon and evening than in the morning! So, it could be that you’re pregnant. The best thing to take a home pregnancy test. And check your body temperature as well, because a slightly increased temperature is an early sign of pregnancy.

Sandra asks…

cannot stomach food in early pregnancy?

Im having problems eating all the correct food advised by all the books in early pregnancy. Although Ive not been sick I have extreme nausea and just can’t face all the veg and milk Im supposed to be intaking daily. I am managing to eat fruit without much problem am drinking loads of water and taking my vit pill, but Im still worried my baby is not getting enough. I can only eat very plain things, such as spagetti hoops on (wholemeal) toast, a little cheese. Did anyone else experience this whilst pregnant and do u think it will adversely effect my baby?

admin answers:

I lost 25 pounds the 1st trimester.
I was put on meds
I was hospitalized
but what helped was vitamin B6 until i realized i was lactose intolerant and in return my son was born allergic to milk (there’s a difference between lactose and allergic to milk)

What did women do before th “BOOKS” where around??? I wouldn’t worry as long as your taking your prenatals but if your surely concerned try the ensure drinks for expectant mothers

Nancy asks…

Extreme nausea at 4 weeks?

This is my second pregnancy. With my first I didn’t get sick until 8 weeks and then I was sick until week 13. Has anyone experienced nausea this early in a pregnancy? With my first I experienced the sickness in the afternoon and this one is the same. I get SUPER sick after lunch and almost can’t stand.

admin answers:

I had morning sickness at night, i am 13w6d with our first baby, anyways my dr told me if the nausea got so bad i couldnt stand it to call in and they would write me a prescription for medicine so it would be easier to function, try to get ahold of your dr. And ask about medicine! Good luck, congrats, and hope you start feeling better!
